Noakes Youth Monthly Regatta

It is with great excitement and anticipation that Noakes Youth announces its commitment to hold monthly regatta events for its Youth members, the first of which to be held at Woolwich Dock on the 3rd of May 2008.
 It is hoped that these regattas will provide an opportunity for different young people of varied backgrounds to come into contact with other youths in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Noakes Youth believes in the potential of all and seeks to provide young people with an environment which promotes the development of leadership, confidence, communication, co-operation and teamwork skills.
In order to promote such skills, strong team bonds are made within each boat, with each receiving its own team name and identity.
In order to promote personal growth each participant is encouraged to try their hand at every different position within the team, from crew member to skipper.
Noakes Youth are constantly looking for young Australians between the ages of 14 – 25 who are interested in having some fun on the water with other youths. All levels of experience are welcome, from first timers to professionals. We also offer sponsorship to those from all areas of Australia outside of Sydney, which includes the cost of flights, meals and accommodation.
